Somewhat further afield, but still quite close to the conference hotels are:
- Seaport Village, a short walk away from the conference hotels, has great shopping and restaurants, and a lovely view of the harbor.
- Old Town San Diego, a short trolley ride away. Old Town has many of San Diego’s oldest buildings, as well as great restaurants and shopping.
- Coronado Island has a lovely beach and promenade, as well as excellent shopping and restaurants.
- Balboa Park is home to the San Diego Zoo as well as many excellent museums and gardens.
